    The Manx originated on the Isle of Man, which is found of the coast of Great Britain

    There are many mythical stories that try to explain why the Manx has no tail. A few are that Noah closed the door of the ark when it began to rain and accidently cut off the Manx’s tail. Another is that the Manx is an offspring of a cat and a rabbit which is why it doesn’t have a tail

    Pedigree Manx cats have almost become extinct in Australia

    Breed needs minimal grooming and sheds very little

    Are low maintenance, with at least weekly brushing

    Primarily are indoor cats, suited to apartment and house living

    Lifespan 20 years +

    Females are 3.5-5kg and Males are 4.5-6kg
