    The Ocicat is named after the Ocelot (Dwarf Leopard) and is the only spotted domestic breed selectively breed to mimic wild cats

    Breed came about by the mating of a Abyssinian, the Siamese and the American Short Hair

    Make a great cat for people who want to spend a lot of time with their cat.

  • Caring for your cat

    Strictly an inside cat, should be housed, indoors, unless supervised or on a harness

    As it has a short, sleek coat it is quite easy to care for and requires minimal grooming

    Octicats are relatively  healthy and rarely requires medical attention

    Not prone to any particular health problems

    Lifespan 15years +

    Female 3-5kg and Male 6-8kg

    May look wild but temperament is anything but ferocious

    Usually spotted like a wild cat

    Large size

    A large active cat with a solid, well muscled body and a short, tight coat with a glossy satin sheen that shows off its spots

    Comes in 12 recognised colours which are Tawny Blue, Chocolate, Lavender, Cinnamon, Fawn, Black, Silver, Blue Silver, Chocolate Silver, Lavender Silver, Cinnamon Silver, and Fawn Silver which are all found around the world
